Purchases on Yahoo Japan Auctions or any Japanese Online shops are under the same simple rule:
The fees are 20% of the payed price of the item / order..
The payed price is the final price (for an auction) or the taxed price (for an online order)
+ the banking fees du to the payment for the transaction.
+ the shipping fees payed for the national shipment.
Banking Fees: 0-210 yen for any payment inferior to 30 000 yen, 420 yen above.
Shipping Fees Japan-Tokyo: between 80 yen for a trading-card and 2000 yen for a 10 kilos table... Average price is about between 200 and 800 yen.
NB: A lot of sellers only send their items through registered mail (average price: 740 yen) in order to avoid any problems. I always ask for the cheapest method, but sometimes do not have the choice!
For exemple, let's take a 200g cel (+ package weight) of 5000 yen.
Final Price: 5000 yen
Banking Fees: 210 yen
Shipping Fees inside Japon: 740 yen
FEES 20%: 1190 yen
TOTAL: 7140 yen
Then add to this total the shipping fees to your country (France in this case) for an approximative weight of 290g :
EMS: 1500 yen, SAL: 2700 yen, Boat: 1800 yen, SAL Small Packet: 380 yen.
So the total becomes 8640 yen for a EMS shipping.
